BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM SERVICES COMBINED

Birth Services:

· 1 Complimentary Consultation; this allows us to get to know each other in a low-pressure environment.

· 2 prenatal visits in your home or preferred location, ensuring personalized attention during your pregnancy.

· Reasonable text, phone, and email support throughout your pregnancy until 6 weeks post-birth, providing you with the guidance you need.

· On-call from 38 weeks’ gestation until birth, offering you peace of mind as your due date approaches.

· Unwavering Labour Support:

· Dedicated support for you and your primary support person during active labour and birth (at the birth location), including the use of various comfort measures such as massage, breathing & relaxation techniques, positioning, and more. Please know that early labour support is possible in person or virtually, but I will take breaks at my discretion.

· 1 postpartum visit in your home or hospital to assist with feeding and to offer postpartum support. We may discuss your birth experience, life with a newborn, baby-wearing, community resources, or any other family-related topics or concerns you might have.

Postpartum Services:

Please know that I do NOT work postpartum shifts on weekends, as my weekends are reserved for my Birthing Clients.

· 1 Complimentary Consultation; this allows us to get to know each other in a low-pressure environment.

· You will have reasonable access to me via phone, email & text throughout the postpartum period for the purposes of the contract’s duration.

· Breastfeeding support to assist you with your feeding journey.

· Support with emotional and physical recovery after birth.

· Light housekeeping to help you maintain a tidy home environment.

· Laundry, dishes, light tidying, etc.– specific tasks to be agreed verbally by both parties.

· Newborn care assistance for diapering, bathing, feeding, and comforting your baby– specific tasks to be agreed verbally by both parties.

· Safe infant sleep recommendations to ensure your baby sleeps well.

· Light meal preparation limited to providing light meals for the Client only, and not their extended support team or family. Please note that I do NOT cook or bake under this service.

· Baby soothing techniques to help calm your newborn.

· Recommendations to local resources such as, but not limited to, parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support, and other parenting support groups.

· Overnight Care – please know that I limit myself to ONE overnight shift a week (10:00pm–6:00am MDT on Fridays), so if you wish to use this option, I advise pre-booking.

· Sibling support– specific tasks to be agreed verbally by both parties.

· Dog walking – please note that this is ONLY for well-behaved, leash trained, friendly dogs and does NOT include dog parks.

Fee: $2040 CAD (+ GST)

I take clients in Okotoks, High River, Diamond Valley, Seton, and South Calgary areas.
